The Jonard Tools AST-10 Mid Span Cable Slit & Ring Tool is designed to slit open 4mm - 10mm (0,157” - 0,393”) jacketed and armored fiber optic cables and is perfect for gaining mid-span access to armored cables. This mid span cable slitting tool features the following:
- adjustable depth up to 5,5mm (0,216”)
- precision steel blade will cut through the toughest materials, ensuring no damage to the internal fibers
- blade can be set to be longitudinal for slitting or radial for ringing
- for use on cables 4mm – 10mm (0,157” - 0,393”)
